Phil Andrey Zanoulou has been photographing for over
twenty years.
He became really keen on artistic photography when
he first came into contact with
digital photography in 2002.
Since 2006, descriptive and documentary photography
has taken a
back seat. With self-paced studies for formal
presentation of art and
taking part in workshops by renowned photographers
from the art scene,
the focus of his work has shifted towards creating
his own art work.
His focus is divided into three main topics
fantasy-worlds, formal
presentations of the human body and abstract figures
in the landscape.
By mixing these very different themes a new kind of
photos is created,
which characterize Zanoulou's handwriting.
Currently ongoing works and series are triptych
series on the theme
"Golden Fighters" and "Art on the bar"
Zanoulou's art works have received several awards in
international competitions
and exhibitions and have been published in several
books and calendars.

Swiss born Phil
Andrey Zanoulou's works are based on conceptional
photographs. Beside fantasy and fine art themes, the
"Travelling Tube"
project is one of his most remarkable.
By presenting the body in its simplicity & beauty,
using unusual
perspectives and combinations, he has created many
outstanding artworks.
Today, Zanoulou's new series " Golden Fighters " and
" Art on the bar "
are among the most popular works in his portfolio.
